Looking to grab brunch this weekend and wondering what everyone's favourite brunch spot is.

Really depends what you're into! I love the Mezcaliera for a fun Mexican brunch but honestly, just walking down the Drive and popping in wherever interests you is a pretty good recipe.

The drive has so many good spots, definitely.

Oh! Any other recommendations on the Drive?

Charlatan is better for their brunch drinks than food, Tangent cafe is kind of classic brunch foods, Chancho looks delicious but I still haven't had it for brunch...

Not exactly Vancouver, but Richmond for Dim Sum.

Yes. The Jade.

Love Richmond, but have stuff to do downtown in the morning

Was there a DimSum place on, like the 6th/top floor of a parking garage almost overlooking the SunYatSen Garden?

I had so much wonderful stuff there, years ago, that it was almost life-changing! ;-)

Mahoney & Sons at the convention center by harbour air. Nice views of the north shore while watching seaplanes taking off/landing. Good food too

Have you been since they renovated? Instead of an Irish pub it has the feel of a community center cafeteria. I almost expected ping pong tables in the upper seating area. I had the Philly cheesesteak (classic Irish pub food) and it was bone dry and the only flavor was the processed cheese slices.

I'm not a picky eater and usually cringe when I'm with a party complaining about their food. I've been the guy at the table who ordered the same thing as everyone else and they sent their back because it was cold after I had eaten all of mine because it was good and not too hot.

I can't imagine what you have to do to a Philly cheesesteak to make it not greasy, but they managed to do it in the most unappetizing way possible. It was really bad. Like I almost complained about it, but it was so bad I didn't want to even consider eating anything else from that kitchen. Like really bad. So bad I'm willing to tell anyone who will listen.

Yolks, if you want some Trad. Score, if you're feelin flirty. Kirin if you're a dimsum-diva, Maxine's if you're feelin fancy

Catch 122 is great, but they moved to North Van near the Shipyards.

Cafe Medina on Richards & Robson is excellent!

we visited a few years ago and had brunch at The Teahouse in Stanley park. A bit expensive, and the food was okay, but the setting was great.

I've gone there for dinner and it was really romantic!
