That whole situation is so weird. And the reporters tone in that piece also seems really off to me, like just downplaying the few facts we do know and saying it's irrelevant to the game. Hope what happened does come out.

I know we have no right to know, but damn if I'm not unbelievably curious what the hell happened
Yeah I have absolutely no idea. The only word that comes to mind is bizarre, because the NHL's initial discussion of it made it sound like he was only passively involved, and maybe that's what happened. But damn would be interested to see what really did go down.
