12-pound test is my favorite line for bass.
Please forgive the bass crack. Waiting for an acoustic guitar community and heard your bass line.
Bass guitar, double bass, and the general low end of sound.

It took me a while to work out that you were talking about fish...
I never get tired of Jaco's bass on 'I Can Dig It Baby', by Little Beaver. I like a lot of those 16th note lines, so anything by Rocco Prestia
Clash - Magnificent Seven
Awesome line!
Zeppelin - How Many More Times
Fleetwood Mac - The Chain Kinda thought I would grow weary of it but didn't happen. Since I just started playing maybe I'll discover another favourite.
First thing that comes to mind is The Spirit of Radio, the first one I heard that wasn't just supporting the guitar player. It really opened my eyes to what bass players were allowed to do.
Came here to say that Freewill would be mine. The dueling solos section in FW is amazing.

Other songs I have enjoyed playing are:

Not ready yet for Kate Bush' Babooshka and Paul Simon's "You Can Call Me Al" though I suppose I could get started with some other songs from the Graceland album if I want to eat the fingerboard.
Any other suggestions for a fretless beginner who loves the "mwah" sound?
Getting my first bass tomorrow, lessons start on Thursday... if I could pull any one song out of the ether and play it perfectly it would be Higher Ground.
Either version :)
My own favorite is probably Hysteria by Muse.
Moonpies for Misfits - Hotwater Music
Vulfepeck’s it gets funkier is very fun
Steve Miller Band - The Joker
I avoid rote music whenever possible. However Primus's 'Here come the Bastards' has been looping my mind for 20 years :]
