Pretty cool looking! I liked RoR2 alright but it never hit the same as the 2D original! Is this just an art-upscale remaster (with a few new things)? Seems like the incredible music of the original is back at least.

Thankfully no! It features new characters, overhauled mechanics (like not having to kill every enemy to charge the teleporter, thank god), challenge levels, and new alternate abilities for all characters similar to RoR2. The music is the same, though.
I'm very interested RoR2 was nice, but left much to be desired, I think this type of game formula would work better in 2D.
