It's shitty that the Liberals made the stupid carve out. Now the NDP is piling on with the Conservatives in a race to weaken our already lackluster climate action.

Seriously? Heating is the single greatest source of greenhouse gasses in Canada. If they want to make home owners have it easier to pay their bills, how about just subsidizing heat pumps instead? They already have a rebate or something for that on the east coast, so just apply it country-wide.

Not only will it be an easy step to lower our carbon footprint, but it'll lower people's monthly bills.
