Surprising how few of these I know; leaving out Resident Evil (VII is the scariest for me) and Alone in the Dark was a bit of a surprise, but I guess we all know enough about the former.
For me it'd be AitD (original), REVII and Visage.

Im surprised The Quarry is in that list 🤔
Yeah that was a really weird choice. It was a very mid game. I probably would have put RE 2 or 7 as long as we're including bigger titles like Silent Hill. Heck, if they just wanted some camp on the list, RE 4 or 8 would have been good picks.
If you want a fun LP of Phantasmagoria 2, the lead actors of Phantasmagoria 1 and 2 got together recently to play it on stream. https://www.youtube.com/live/hw5iLuVC0w4
Also also, they did a Phantasmagoria 1 playthrough and Roberta Williams herself showed up in the live chat during one of the episodes!
Shout out to Miasmata, the only cartography horror game ever made! It's really rough around the edges (like, crash-to-desktop if you tab out rough) but it's one of the most unique games I've ever played. The fact that you have to use triangulation to fill out your map makes the game tense and immersive.
Wow they forgot to put The 7th Guest at #1 (or the new VR remake) 😡
Strong list though, and we did get an honorable mention under Scratches
