This guy basically mirrors my experience with KDE and GNOME. I like kde a lot but Gnome feels so much more polished and comfortable to use, especially on laptops.

I tried to switch to Gnome because of Wayland support on my old Nvidia card but I just can't. I feel like I'm using macOS, the devs want you to work in a way and don´t want you to do anything different. Well, that was exactly why I left windows.
