Watching Wilks trot out this defense is like watching Matt Canada on the Steelers trot out their impotent offense. Just calling NFL-ish looking plays with no rhyme or reason as to why. Fundamental misunderstandings about why the plays should be called so they’re just easily beaten. Really disheartening to see all that talent (and salary cap) go to waste due to schematic incompetence.
Glad our defense came up big at the end of the half. I'm not sure what it is, but it seems like the defense hasn't quite been themselves over the last few games. Here's hoping they find themselves and return to dominance!
