Hi,

I noticed that I can see communities from instances I am not subscribed to on those instances, but am subscribed to on my lemmy.world instances.

For example, I am subbed to [email protected] but I also see post to [email protected]

I like this feature. Is there a way to get that to work on the web too?

That's a bug, if the user is from domain.xyz, and create a post on [email protected], the community name shows the domain from the use instead of community instance.

Dang, I kinda liked that to be a feature. It'd be nice to see all !selfhosted post across all instances to avoid every server creating their own secluded community. Maybe one day

Do you see all posts from the community you are not subscribed? Or do you just see "hot" posts?

The latter one is just an effect of the federation.
