oh man you're gonna have a blast. they are probably my favorite band to see these days. I caught my first Ween show way back in 2006 or 07 and imo they're sounding better than they ever have
I’m enjoying a little 4/6/82 this morning on my Time Machine.
I've slept on 80s Dead for too long, I'll have to check that one out!
I'm generally a Godchaux era fan, but some of the 80s shows really rip.
I love this recording of Brent.
At around 10:05, Brent yelling "Take that fist and hold it in the air", the crowd hollering in response, and Jerry's fucking giant smile and bopping around just gives me goosebumps and a huge smile myself every time I watch this
Brent puts so much into this one, I remember hearing it for the first time and replaying the part where he goes "what'd you think, your ribcage is a jail cell mama??" over and over
