What movie/tv show has a good likeliness to be resolved by the protagonists playing the board game Jumanji from the movie? (kbin.social)

This probably needs some explaining. So for example, the movie Die Hard.

If John McClain or even some of the hostages whipped out the game and started playing the game and unleashing the animals, and bugs and monsoons, I think the movie potentially gets resolved more quickly. The terrorists can’t contain the abrupt chaos. They’ll be far too distracted and the police outside can possibly resolve the situation sooner.

Of course there is the probability that some of the hostages don’t make it, but I think there’s a decent chance.

What other movies/tv shows would give the same sort of chances?

I'm not sure about a GOOD resolution, but the first movie that comes to mind is Jurassic Park.
