Nice! I like the color fade. Both my keyboards seem fairly plain in comparison.

I don't have a photo of my other two but they are both Black on Black. Plain is fine!
Nice work! A tablesaw, you say? I've wondered how to add angle to a board. I've been thinking about just filling away, or using a planer.
After, you've sanded and olied it?
Yup, I played around with using a hand plane but got impatient and wasn't confident I could get an even smooth angle across the whole thing. So I stood the board up against the fence and kicked the blade over at a 15ish degree angle.
After that as you said sanded and oiled. I used Tung oil for the finish.
That's funny, I've made a few of these and always thought to myself, "I can knock this out with a hand plane way faster than I could set up my table saw." A few swipes with a no5 and a couple swipes with a smoother and I'm done. I guess it all depends on how familiar you are with which tools (and of course, whether you're making a couple vs a whole bunch)
I always wanted to make my own wrist rest. You've done a splendid job. I'm guessing from your description the process wasn't super difficult?
Also, love the key caps. Gradient sets are doing it for me.
nope wasn't to difficult at all. Some basic knowledge of tools should have you covered. If you have more patience than I do it's entirely possible to make with just hand tools.
I too did a sketchy cut on a table saw when making my wrist rest! Looks great.
That looks top notch. I have a Q7 and I'm thinking of getting a full profile, hot swappable keyboard from Keychron next. Kind of interested to find out what all of that jargon in brackets in your post means but I have plenty of time for that 😁
Not for me, but very nice. Good work!
