Spoilers for Week 6 Story

spoilerAhsa really went and said "Go ask your other alien mom." Knew she'd be back sooner than later, but wasn't expecting it to be via ancestral worm god.

How'd everyone like the last mission and cinematic?

The moment we didn’t kill Immaru we knew Savathun was coming back. Not surprised she’s going to help us against the Witness considering what she learned at the end of WQ. Her VA is amazing. Glad she’s coming back.

I think these next two seasons are essentially going to be fetch quests to get what we need to get in the portal.

Mission itself was nothing special. I wish instead of hearing all the fighting we could see it like we did with Saint back when we rescued him. It really felt like we didn’t do much to make Xivu retreat.

im interested in what we're going to do with xivu and oryx. it's totally possible that we end up with all 3 of them on our side to fight the witness and the story ends with them going to rectify the hell the hive raught on the universe or some kind of redemption. the hive were manipulated into joining the darkness, i can't believe oryx would be able to reconcile that fact, and xevu doesn't seem to know what happened with the worm gods yet.

My speculation is this:

Oryx: Stays dead, at least though TFS. The fact we prevented him from resurrecting this season means we prob wont see him again for a bit if ever.

Savathun: Coming back clearly. Whether or not she stays is up in the air. Seems like she's going to be like Magneto from X-men. Sometimes helping us but always pursing her own agenda. Seems like she's tired of the Hive's shit though and is trying to distance herself from her siblings.

Xivu: Either going to be a boss in TFS or a threat after TFS. I could see her being the campaign boss with the Witness as the raid boss or vice versa. So we could be in a situation where we stop Xivu from carrying out Witness' plan in campaign or we stop her revenge plot (after killing the Witness in the campaign) in the raid.

I think there's a possibility for them to all come back after TFS and continue their shenanigans against each other with us caught in the middle.

I agree, I think it's highly unlikely Oryx comes back. His remains, however, might be useful. This was his Taken King form that he assumed within his turned-inside-out Throne World. His body is still growing.

I'll be interested to see how Savathun processess the Krill having been meant for upliftment by the Traveler all along. She hadn't had much time to think on it before we killed her, repeatedly.

I really can't tell if Xivu will end up as a Raid/Campaign boss in TFS, or if she will persist onward as the defacto hive antagonist for whatever comes after.

The Nine are overdue for an appearance in the next few seasons I think, just with all the spotlight Drifter has been getting.

Yeah the mission itself was kinda like...oh that was it. I kinda had that feeling for a lot of this season.

One of the week's mission to unlock the next connection between Sloan and Ahsa was literally go do a single easy lost sector :/

I can’t wait for the fat: “I told you so 😏”. And honestly, we deserve it.
