From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Hello. Trying to figure out how to make something similar on my on config file. Image is from AwesomeWM's homepage. What I have tried so far is to go to the documentation and look at the "Personalize Your Tags" and "Add Widget" sections. Are these considered to be more widget tags?

just set your tag names with glyphs instead of numbers

Those are tags (think virtual desktops), with different icons. The wibar which this belongs to is a widget however. Look at awful.widget.taglist in the documentation.

This is waybar not awesome no? Afaik awesome does not ship its own bar. So I'd look through waybar documentation or a waybar config file in the awesome examples. Also this is probably just naming a desktop with a unicode icon so that it shows the icon in waybar

Wibar, not waybar. Waybar is a Wayland bar. Wibar is awesome's built-in bar.
