It would be funny of Lemmy had some kind of lore about a hero creator, like John Mastodon. Who dou you ppl think we could raise to such position ? Should they be someone fictional or do you think we should go with Lemy Kilmister ?

Is that why the mobile app is called "Jerboa"?

I have no idea... I was just trying to be funny. Mlem on iOS doesn't really work yet so I didn't know there was a "Jerboa". :)

In the early days of the internet, there was a young man named John Mastodon. He was a brilliant programmer with a passion for freedom and privacy. He believed that the internet should be a place where people could express themselves freely without fear of censorship or surveillance.

One day, John had an idea. He would create a new type of social network, one that would be decentralized and federated. This would mean that no single company would control the network, and users would be able to own their own data.

John called his new network Mastodon. He worked tirelessly to develop it, and soon it was ready for launch. Mastodon was an instant success. People loved the freedom and privacy that it offered.

Soon, another man joined John's quest. His name was Lemmy Kilmister. Lemmy was a rock star with a rebellious streak. He believed in the same things that John did, and he was eager to help him spread the word about the federated internet.

Lemmy was a bit of a wild card. He would often show up to events wearing a leather jacket and a bandana. He would drink beer and smoke cigarettes, and he would tell stories about his time in rock and roll.

But Lemmy was also brilliant. He was a master of persuasion, and he could always find a way to get people to listen to him.

John and Lemmy were an unstoppable team. They were the yin and yang of the internet revolution. John was the brains, and Lemmy was the brawn. Together, they changed the world.

Their message was well-received. Within a few years, Mastodon and the Lemmonites had become the most popular federated social network in the world. It had vanquished the Reddit empire, and it had shown the world that a free and open internet was possible.

Lemmy had a pet gerbil named Mr. Whiskers. Mr. Whiskers was a small, furry creature with big ears and a long tail. He was Lemmy's constant companion, and he followed him everywhere he went.

Mr. Whiskers was a bit of a troublemaker. He would often chew on things he wasn't supposed to, like Lemmy's cables and clothes. But Lemmy didn't mind. He loved Mr. Whiskers, and he thought he was the funniest gerbil in the world.

One day, Lemmy was giving a speech at a conference, when Mr. Whiskers decided to make an appearance. He scurried out onto the stage and started running around, causing a commotion.

The audience was amused, and Lemmy just laughed. He picked up Mr. Whiskers and held him up for everyone to see. "This is Mr. Whiskers," he said. "He's my little freedom fighter."

The crowd cheered, and Mr. Whiskers took a bow. He was a star. He became a symbol of hope for the Lemmonites.

As time went on, John and Lemmy were hailed as heroes. They had shown the world that it was possible to fight for freedom and privacy online. They had inspired millions of people to take back control of their data, and they had helped to create a more open and democratic internet.

But their story didn't end there. After they had vanquished the Reddit empire, John and Lemmy decided to take their fight to the next level. They created a new type of internet, one that was completely free and open. They called it the Fedinet.

The Fedinet caught on quickly, becoming the most popular internet in the world. People from all over the globe flocked to the Fedinet, drawn by its freedom and openness.

The Fedinet was a dream come true for John and Lemmy. They had created a world where people could truly be free.

But their dream was not without its challenges. The Fedinet was constantly under attack from the old internet, the one that was controlled by corporations and governments.
