I'm glad Gmail has a feature to automatically warn you if you mention attachments and there are no attachments. Has saved my ass from embarrassment on several occasions.

Thunderbird does the same!

My favorite feature for thunderbird is to ask before you send email. I see other do tons of hackery to prevent accidentally sending email, I guess the technology is simply too advanced for the like of outlooks 😋

So does Outlook now. So mang embarrasing situations averted.

This is a particularly well executed meme isn’t it. Is it a new format?

Once I applied for a job via email and forgot to attach my resume 🤦 didn’t realize till the hiring manager emailed me back asking where my resume was. Got the job in the end though

Same... Almost the same exact thing happened to me, but I still got the job too

When I sent my CV to the company I work at right, this is exactly what happened. I wrote a well thought out email and sent it without actually sending in my CV, I got a response within an hour asking me to attach the CV, funnily enough I still got the job.

Luckily now most email SW notifies you. I really hated when I did this in old times

I did this twice once, I was so embarrassed :(

Done this so many times. Outlook added a warning when it sees the word “attached” and there is no attachment. Seriously has helped with my sanity.
