This would benefit no one. Centrists would see it as a takeover of the liberals by the "radical left" (lol) and the LPC would lose some votes to the CPC, and NDP supporters would see it as their party essentially giving up and acquiescing to the LPC, further building voter disenfranchisement and losing votes there as well.

I still don't think that the CPCs has nearly as much support as polls would indicate. I havent really seen a shift in their support since PP was electec as leader. I just see more voter fatigue/apathy from the Liberal voter base if anything.
