Delighted and relieved by this announcement. Big congrats to Chow, it's hopefully the first shift of many to steer things toward a more equitable city. Let's hope that things can improve here in Toronto, Chow will be a mayor who cares infinitely more than Tory ever could have.

I honestly didn't even know Toronto was electing a mayor. It looks like it was a by-election, so does that mean there will be a new election soon anyway?
