I think all of the awesome stuff coming in S5 has drowned out news on this. It's a little disappointing, but it sounds like there will always be some free pass going with Operations.

MODERATORS
This sounds like they only want to have one "free" pass up at any given time. The S05 pass is free until the first Operation starts, then that is free until the next Operation, and so on.
Operations has me worried as I'm confused and think it will work like the current events in destiny 2.
