(Ayzee is standing apprehensively in the hallway at Hexside, alone, facing the open door in front of her that leads to the gymnasium. She is wearing her outfit with the cape that she was trying on earlier. Her name is being chanted)
Crowd (off-panel): AYZEE!

(From behind Ayzee, we see her looking through the door into the gym)
Crowd (off-panel): AYZEE!

(The principal is up on the stage, holding a microphone, and hyping up the crowd. Mr. Ironguts is standing beside her, clapping)
Principal: Students of Hexside! You could've been anywhere in the Isles tonight,
Crowd (off-panel): AYZEE!
AYZEE!
Panel 4
Principal (off-panel): But you are here with us, to witness the epic battle of the year!
(We see the crowd, most of whom are enthusiastically cheering. Pandora and Jay are right in the center, with an empty space next to them. Bump is nearby as well)
Crowd: AYZEE!

Jay: Kick its butt!

(Ayzee glances nervously to the side as she enters the gym)

(Ayzee closes her eyes and lets out her breath)

(Close up on Ayzee's eyes, open and determined)
Ayzee: She'll be here. Now focus, Ayzee.

(Ayzee reaches up and detaches her shoulder guard)

(Both shoulder guards fall to the floor)
Panel 7
(Ayzee casts her cape to the side and strides towards the ramp leading down to Grom)

(Ayzee touches her left wrist, activating her i-Stone)

(Ayzee's RPG stat display appears hovering near her. It shows Ayzee Lv. 8, with full HP and MP bars, and a list of six ability icons. Ayzee is holding out her right arm and a tendril of abomination goo is swirling around it)

(The abomination icon points to a sword shape, and the abomination around Ayzee's wrist turns into a machete held in her hand)
Panel 4
(We see Ayzee's feet as she steps towards a swirling pile of dark goo on the ground. The tip of her abomination blade is barely visible at the top of the panel)

(Ayzee looks up as the goo is forming a large shape in front of her)

(Ayzee faces the Grom monster, holding out her abomination blade, with her stat display hovering near her)

Ayzee (from behind, facing Grom): And I'm so ready!

(A stat bar begins to appear over Grometheus's form with a buzzing sound)

(Glowing "eyes" appear on Grometheus' form as the stat bar comes fully into focus with a [DING]. It reads Grometheus Lv. 45 with a much longer HP bar)

(Ayzee stands frozen with wide open eyes. Her stat bar still reads Ayzee Lv. 8)

(Same pose as before but Ayzee is speaking. The word bubble is mostly off panel and only the very tops of the letters in the second word are visible)
