IKEA filed two test reports with the FCC this month for sensors that can be added to a smarthome network. They are the Parasoll, a sensor to measure whether a window or door is open or closed. And the Valhorn, a motion sensor

I’m very unfamiliar with IKEA devices. Are these HomeKit ready?

They are! They all need a bridge though (Dirigera or the older Tradfri)

My IKEA Fyurtur blinds and their smart plug have been wonderfully reliable. It would be great to have some cheaper but reliable options out there for sensors! I just hope they’re not too bulky.
