Hope we get an actual guide in the future. Tried to add this from an external instance and couldn't. I don't know if it was a bug or something particular from the instance I used. Ended up just creating an account on lemmy.world.

I'm a new shitlord too so I can't help with a guide, but I have had a similar experience. Maybe it is because of an unexpected increase in traffic or something, but I keep having issues with it logging me out.
That would make sense. I couldn't login on my PC after creating the account. I think everything needs time to deal with the sudden traffic.
did y'all sign up with an email address? if so, did you open that account and click the "okay cool you're verified" link?

Yes, I did. I was using it and commenting without issues on the phone. The problem was with the PC then.

Like for some reason mine still says "subscribe pending" instead of subscribed. Maybe cuz I'm on the "world" server and not the "ml" but I got no damn clue brudda
