Happy independence day, Happy Monday, Happy no work day, just overall, I hope everyone a happy day. I'm feeling very hopeful that this new forum could be the start of a healthier community.

My reddit account is 8 years old na pero di ko alam na may ibang ways/apps pala to browse reddit. I'm only a lurker and rarely post/comment/upvote. It is my only source of info about my hobbies or news on current happenings dahil wala akong ibang social media accounts. It might be hard to compeltely delete it, but I will still support the current protest.

I will not be using reddit for at least a week starting today. Or maybe extend it more if this Lemmy or other alternatives work. Ang weird lang na may thumb automatically goes to the reddit app icon whenever I unlock my phone, and I need to mindfully control not to tap it (adik yan?).

Madami pa din na mga Pinoy redditors ang walang idea about the blackout. Kanina ang dami pa din mga posts bakit nawawala un ibang mga subreddits.
