America's billionaires have had a great year from a financial standpoint. The top 20 people on Forbes' 2023 richest list have added $310 billion to their fortunes. Together, they have a combined wealth of $1.9 trillion, a 30% increase from a year ago. people make fun of poor republicans but the 6 figure ones crack me up. They think they shoulder a large part of societies cost, which is true, but they think the republicans will lower it for them. But they put them where they are. The highest tax bracket is just barely in the 6 figure range. Heck the no tax range should be anything below 5 figures and the lowest bracket should be the rest of the 5 figure rang. 6 figures should be the second and 7 the third and 8 the fourth and 9 the fifth and 10 the sixth and 11 the seventh. It should apply to any income source of any kind and be about 10% each bracket.
