I’ve always enjoyed these but I’ve seen them at every recent wedding I’ve been to and I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth having one. Have they gotten old in anyone’s opinion?

Cameras at every table for candid shots is cheap and really fun. I haven't seen a booth in forever.

If you can get one at a good price - sure! We wanted one but it was too expensive, so we did our own. Props, backdrop, Polaroid camera and a book where you could put your picture in for the bride/groom along with paint pens to write a message. Only cost like $100 and we still have all the pictures years later! It was fun.

They were definitely starting to be considered out of date when we had one last August. If you're having more of a family wedding though, the most use ours got was older family members coaxing my camera shy niece into dressing up. Consider the vibe of your wedding before you get one. If people will be busy elsewhere, it's a bit of a waste.
