Not sure if I should be doing it this but I don’t really have any other options. If anyone has a better solution I’m all ears 😅

So I didn't see what community this was from, and when I first looked at it, I thought it was a 3d topographical map of a mountain range to use for a Dnd campaign

@Treatyoself I've been known to pin shawls directly to the carpet. Coffee table to the side and go for it.

wow!✨️

that looks real fabulous, it's like a marbled canyon or something😍

I really love the interesting pattern you've intentionally or accidentally created

My husband's Scottish Granny would lay a sheet on the rug and pin to that.

Honestly if it works it works! I know some people put towels down on the bed and pin straight into their mattress, or I have also pinned things to the carpet on occasion. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Seconding the rug (or bed!) ideas. Before I got blocking mats I would use towels or plastic bags on the bed or rug.

Did it end up ok?

Oh my yes it did! The doubling up the ends didn’t do anything weird to them. The shawl came out more like a scarf but she loves it.

Check it out on my mom!
