In the old days, I would just take a picutre, copy it, and ctrl + v it where URL went, and, voila! I have my meme ready to be titled and posted...

Now..?

I get an error every time I do that.

Embarrassing to ask, I know: I should invest some random amount of time into reading stuff,trying to find the most current mthod...

But instead I offer my humble upvote and praise to whomever helps me.

I just created an account and tried to upload an avatar and banner and I get an error code.

I never had this issue but I certainly hope it is addressed soon

be patient a bit because the Fediverse is held together by the volunteered time of people like our admin here Kapow -- they keep it free and grassroots and that means we have to pay them back with patience & understanding.
