If I pick up my cross stitch my cat takes it as an invitation to get in my lap. I guess it's because she knows I'll be sitting in one spot for a little while lol! She seems to think I really like it if she steps directly onto the cross stitch itself getting there

My project has so much cat hair in it. I can't leave it sitting down or they'd lie in it.
@DrPop @lemmy_stitch I put it in a plastic bag, and then in a cotton bag when I don't work on it for that reason. I stopped to literally rethread my needle, and he jumped on it. People recommended lint rollers. I have yet to try it.
