Theft 1, Warrant – Case 1701666

Brad’s Car Tunes reported a suspect came into the store to shop and then left without paying for two expensive sound equipment items. An employee ran after the suspect, later identified as Jason Robert Loe, age 32, of Eugene. The suspect left in a Ford F-250 that had a female passenger, and her purse fell out of the vehicle. The vehicle was spotted by a Brad’s employee at a local wrecking yard. Officers responded and found it in the parking lot and contacted the driver, Loe. The items were recovered and provided back to Brad’s. Loe was arrested for Theft 1 and a Parole Violation. ‘"

"An employee ran after the suspect"

And that's how you turn a $200 theft into a $20,000 lawsuit. Idiots. What are you gonna do if you catch them? Tackle them? Put them in cuffs? Every major retailer has a no-chase policy.

@kescusay
Yet another reason to get these death machines off the streets. There's no reason people should have to have metal boxes that can very easily injure or even kill people.
