And yet every time I report anyone on my friends list for being hacked or running scams, it's never against their community guidelines.

"We've checked what you reported and determined that promoting racism and murder is not against our community standards. Would you like to follow these incredibly stupid groups instead?"
My business account was locked during fucking signup. From a residential IP with no low reputation, at a normal time of the day⦠for community rule breaking or something. Appeal? Fuck you appeal.
That sounds like it is probably time to move your business elsewhere, @Nightwatch_[email protected]
I dit and it worked out great
I don't think it's anything malicious I think there's just something weird going on. I just had an account that I haven't used in like 3 years locked for suspicious activity. I was able to get right back in it and double check to see if somebody had hacked it and sent weird spam messages but nope. Nothing.

Classic Privacy Zuckering
"Privacy Zuckering" β named after Facebook co-founder and Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg β is a practice that tricks the user into sharing more information than they intended to.[8] Users may give up this information unknowingly or through practices that obscure or delay the option to opt out of sharing their private information. California has approved regulations that limit this practice by businesses in the California Consumer Privacy Act.[9]
All I had to do was log in and reset my password
now youve logged back into the platform and see all the notifications you missed on top of the fact they now have your ip if any hardware or geographic info has changedl etc. adding to your shadow profile
Well, so far I have not been asked to give them any sensitive private information, but that has me wondering what it would take for them to be found in and face criminal charges for being in violation of the California Consumer Privacy Act with this weird shit going on.
Yeah, that is what I am thinking as this had started this month and I never had this happen before.
Facebook is an unethical company, founded and run by an unethical person. They do so much seedy shit that it would be impossible to discuss all of it, especially since a lot of it is still unknown.
Its so they can get a blood sample and a passport scan from you π
Except they have not gotten any blood sample or a passport scan from me yet. And even if they were to try to get a blood sample out of me, they risk getting an example of actual koala blood from me to see what those idiots would do with that. π
Why are you still using Facebook in the first place?
Why do you feel people need to justify their decisions? To you?
Well, the reason is because I still have a lot of family on there.
Ah, the age old "I don't value privacy but do value keeping up with people I never talk to" defense. Get over it man, it's a plagued platform.
A lot of assumptions you just made...
That was pretty uncalled for. You couldn't possibly know that about them and plus your comment just comes across a just plain mean spirited. There are better ways to get your point across.
