Hi! I currently own an iPhone 8. It's treated me right for a long time. I really value a smaller phone size and don't know how much I will like having a larger phone in my pocket, especially on bike rides or while being active. Since Apple announced future updates won't support the model, I am looking at upgrading this year to a 15 or next year to an SE. Thoughts?

If form factor is important, I think I would wait a bit then.

If the SE option isn’t what you thought it was, you can always “rollback” to a 15.

Yup. Seems reasonable. I may try to hold out for a hopeful mini-sized SE update next year, but not sure if that is going to happen or not in first half 2024.

If you like the form factor, go for the current SE, think this will be the last model in that shape and size.

Thanks for the perspective. One of the decision points is a desire to upgrade the camera. The current SE wouldn't be much of an upgrade.
