Amity (V.O.): Before the Deadwardian Era, piracy was a serious threat to the people of Bonesborough.

Amity (V.O.): During a particularly huge attack on the town,
Panel 3
(Shadowy image of a large formless monster with several figures running away from it)
Amity (V.O.): The pirates had attracted the attention of Grometheus, a monster that brought out their greatest fear.
Panel 4
(Amity and Milan are in Amity's lab. Amity is using a spell circle to project the previous images onto a screen for Milan)
Amity: What happened next was kinda vague, but...

Amity (off-panel, to an attentive Milan): After the pirates were gone,
the Fear Bringer terrorized the town,
Panel 2
(Closeup on Milan sitting on her seat. We can see concealed behind her is a lit-up scroll)

(Ayzee and Edric are outside, eavesdropping by listening on Ayzee's scroll)
Panel 4
(Shadowy image of Grom with an open mouth, and a figure in between its jaws)
Amity (V.O.): Evidently it ate one of the town folks.
Panel 5
(Shadowy image of Grom, with several arrows in it, being chased by a crowd with torches)
Amity (V.O.): Then it was driven back into the wild.
Panel 6
Amity: And that, was the earliest, and probably the only record of Grometheus.
Panel 7
Amity (off-panel, to an attentive Milan): Until it was discovered later under Hexside.
Panel 8
Milan (confused): Wait, that's it?

Milan (to a dubious Amity): What about its weakness? Or how to negate its power-
Panel 2
Amity (sighing): So, they got a student to do their dirty work, am I right?

Milan (startled): What?!
Amity (off-panel): Who's fighting Grom this time?
Panel 4
(Ayzee and Edric are listening in. Ayzee is terrified)
Edric: You're doomed.
Panel 5
Amity (off-panel, to an anxious Milan): Don't worry, you can tell me.
Panel 6
Milan (exhaling): Okay, you got me.
Panel 7
Milan: It's me.
Panel 8
Milan (off-panel): I'll be fighting Grom.
Amity (taken aback): Oh.

(Ayzee and Edric are listening in. Ayzee relaxes)

Amity: You know what?
Panel 3
Amity (happily): I'm kinda relieved!
Panel 4
Milan (shocked): Huh?!
Amity: I'm glad it's you, honestly.
Panel 5
Amity (off-panel, to a distressed Milan): You have nothing to worry about, then.
You are a brave and strong witch. Grom has got nothing on you.
You are perfect for the task.

(Ayzee and Edric are wide eyed and stunned)

(Ayzee has a plaintive look on her face. Edric is scooting away from her)
