Ever since Battleye was introduced I've gotten constant issues with contacting servers. Is there any fix? I've changed my MTU, changed the DNS, idfk what else I can do to fix it.

I don't think it's BattleEye, I've also been getting those messages lately and I play on a PS5.

As much as all the official communication (error messages, FAQs, manuals, etc.) would have you believe the problem is on your end, I'm afraid the reality is that Bungie's server infrastructure is just shitty and overloaded.

When the game says "You are experiencing network difficulties", I read it as a plural you, as in "You the players".

It didn't happen before BattleEye. Now it does. Ipso Facto: BattleEye is the culprit. Occam's Razor my friend.

Can you share more information about your connection? More detail is better, but anything you can provide would likely be helpful. Some good info to start with:

  • Wired or wireless?
  • Are you using a VPN?
  • What are your results when running a speed test?
  • Do you have double NAT?
