That’s because in America, religion is tied to a particular brand of politics that denies things like global warming. If they believed in science then they would have to believe that too.

Last check I had, science was just the study of the way creation was designed in Genesis. ...and how would understanding creation obstruct the understanding of our creator? ...though it seems like everything has been politicized the world over, as if we're all just labels.

Ok first off science is not the study of your bronze age fairytales. It is the study of the physical universe, i.e. the only thing that exists.

Secondly the evidence we have doesn't suggest any of that story happened.

Time to put away childish things.
