Request has been submitted here https://lemmy.ca/post/6145566 apparently this is how it is done. Nothing yet from the instant mods, but I assume they are busy.

Any update on this?
Apprently instance mods are backed up. I'm chatting with some other folks with simular request. It's apprently not normally this slow. Need to wait it out for a bit more I guess.
I'd say you go for it, the mod is clearly gone.
Eh. I'll give it a week if no one steps I'll just see take over for now. I'm certinally not the best choice but I'd give it a fair shot.
Might just have to give the dang thing a full re read just to get topics of conversation.
Hehe organize a community reread, I'd be down.
Interesting. How whould that work?
The homestuck discord has done it before, though I wasn't a part of it. A forum based place like this, maybe a page or range of pages a day, depending on the amount of content in them, and a thread for discussions or comments? In a voice call thing maybe a narrator (or group of them for different voices) read through the pages and people can either discuss in chat or discuss along side them?
Idfk man I'm like you, I don't moderate shit lol
Given the lack of folks in here I may just read and comment on a few pages here daily if anything just to get the post counts up.
That works. Maybe something else to generate content and interest could be like a fan troll/kid contest, see who has the best designs and lore or whatever.
Sounds good to me.
Old mod here - glad you took over! Honestly forgot Lemmy existed. Glad the place is in good hands :)
Thank you. Still a bit of a ghost town in here. But I'll be back to posting soon. Hopfully it'll pick up traction eventually.
I am posting here with a new .world account as this is a thing I need to do in order to make this work.
