When trying to log in to lemm.ee using the newest Jerboa version (0.0.35) from the Play Store, it pops up a message saying "Server version (0.17.4) is under the minimum supported version (0.18)".

Should I try to install an older Jerboa version from their Github? What are other Jerboa users on lemm.ee using?

You can use it without too many issues. Sometimes I get crashes, but since I think lemm.ee will get to 0.18 soon, it's fine.

I am unable to log in using Jerboa at all, probably because it is the first time I installed the app, while other users already were logged in to lemm.ee before they updated Jerboa?

Anyways, now I saw the post in !meta about the 0.18 upgrade, I guess I'll just wait for it then! (Or consider trying another app.) No big problem in any case.

I'm using a browser right now. Lemmy 0.18 was released less than an hour ago. Hopefully the servers will be updated and jerboa 0.0.35 will function properly. But I'm just a guy who read all this on lemmy, I have no actual knowledge.

I tried to log in using the older versions but they simply crashed in my phone.

Both 0.0.35 and 0.18 are great updates, hope we get 0.18 here soon (:

Hey, you can follow this method. I tried and it works.

Thanks for the tip! But seeing that other users are saying they may or may not get crashes, I think I'll just use the web browser UI for now!

F-droid has 0.0.34 now - I'm using it with no problems, but will be careful before upgrading
