Misleading title. The UK has 0.2% for one quarter instead of the EU's 0.1% but the UK has been doing worse for the last few years since Brexit so I would hardly call it 'ahead of EU'.

The title is talking about the future, so it is speculative
And no, the UK hasn't been doing as bad as everyone thought. All the stats got revised and an extra 2% of GDP was added
