Alas, the original topic is both a Rule5 and Rule8 violation. But the "original article" is absolutely worth a topic. I know yall were doing it in the right spirits of things, but I'm cautiously looking forward to when less like-minded folk come around to the discussion. Its best if we try to keep the discussion elevated, even amongst ourselves / before any drama happens.

I still remember the 'appreciating asset' meme. No doubt related to these idiotic price hikes (and subsequent collapse of price).

This here is called negotiation. Elon just out-negotiated his entire fanbase, and they cheer for h because of it.

they are piles of trash, so they need to be discounted to zero, just throw into the scrap heap. but if charitable people can use them, then let them. make sure musk gets zero.
