Hi folks, I'm trying to sign up on your server over here but seem to be running into an issue where it stalls when I press the actual signup button, I just get the spinning wheel. I tried in both firefox and chrome and am getting the same issue. The network tab doesn't log any requests aside from a 304 for symbols.svg.

is anyone aware of this problem and/or of how to fix it?

edit: as soon as I disconnected from my VPN it worked. This is upsetting that I can't use a VPN on this community.

edit 2: now i can't log in, VPN or not. Same issue across firefox and chrome.

There's nothing special about our instance that would make it incompatible with a VPN. I was going to suggest you might have something that's interfering with the captcha when it comes to sign up, but that's likely not the cause of your login issues after signing up.

Save your info, duplicate the tab and just try again in the new tab. I had a similar problem on a different instance and it seemed to do the trick

I had the same issue and it resolved itself when I verified my email
