I've played Diablo since the day the first one came out. I really loved D2, hated D3 at first until they fixed a whole bunch of things (looking at you real money AH) and have just completed the main campaign in D4.

I do miss my superspeed WW barb from D3, I mean just absolutely blitzing a dungeon in under 20 seconds was always a ton of fun, but I've really come to enjoy the world building and story of D4 a lot. The mechanics are definitely pretty different in some aspects but I find that being forced to slow down and just actually enjoy the world is pretty great.

Looking forward to capstones, whispers, etc. and getting further into it. Are there issues with it? Sure, of course there are, but I think that things can only go up from here!

I am absolutely LOVING D4. I only played a little of 2 and played the hell out of 3. Currently running a Necro and enjoying the power fantasy. Using this leveling guide and it feels very powerful

I've been playing these since the first one, and I'm having a fun time with the new one as well! I've tried out each of the classes and the one I seem to be sticking with is a Necromancer named PapaEmeritus.

I have never been a hard-core gamer and didn't finish either D2 or even D3 — I did spend a lot of time with both of them, however, and thoroughly enjoyed my time with them.

I really like D4 so far, I have to say. Runs perfectly on my SteamDeck and it's a lot of fun to play! If you look past the fact that you need an active Internet connection and the fact that there are (so far) purely cosmetic micro transactions, I think it's a really fun and good game!

Yea I miss WW barbs lol. In D4 I'm playing a necro and it definitely feels pretty slow, but I love it. Corpse explosion makes me happy. I'm a D4 fanboy for sure.

Love it! I started with Necromancer till level 28 but I switched to Barbarian and then to Rogue. I stuck with Rogue. Level 30 on Act 5 currently, I am looking forward to Season 1.

I never thought diablo was the series for me. But after watching my gf play Diablo 4 nonstop, I may have to try it out for myself.

I have been playing since the original release of Diablo around 1997 and, like you, enjoyed D2 thoroughly. D3 was a rough start, but the introduction of seasons and rifts was pretty great. I liked the feeling of overwhelming power that D3 offered. D4 is a lot slower, a kind of calling back to the original and D2. I am enjoying the game overall, but there are some things that I would change given the opportunity. I find gearing to be less intuitive - hard stats may have been a better way to do it rather than percentages, but I'm no game developer. Although even at level 67 I am missing the feeling of power, in time I am sure it will come. At least one can cope. The sorcerer in D4 doesn't feel as good as it had in the past. To be fair I am running with 4 defensive spells which doesn't leave room for much else. I am struggling in WT4, but the drops in WT3 have been less than helpful in making my character stronger. The stats I need simply aren't dropping.

Overall though? D4 is excellent. Balancing and changes will occur that brings the game together and I have no doubt I will be playing this game for another decade.

I'm also having a blast. Just finished my capstone dungeon, as well as a couple of Nightmare Dungeons. The transition to Sacred gear is pretty rough, but not hard. But when you get the a couple of Sacred slots filled, it's pretty easy.

It's essentially a better Lost Ark, IMO. Same systems, but a way better method of implementation. My friend put it to me this way, "This is Dablio 3", in referring to Diablo 4.

Diablo 3. Lol.

Really started playing in D3 so the slower pace of D4 is a bit jarring. Overall though I'm glad to be playing a new Diablo and looking forward to trying out different builds once I level up more.

Definitely enjoying D4, even though my spinny boi is pretty nerfed compared to the olden days. I'm really interested to see what the first season will be like; planning to run a sorc for it.

I'm having a blast. I have never touched a Diablo game before and probably wouldn't have tried this normally, but Destiny 2 has been boring me recently and I have a bunch of friends that picked it up so I figured I'd give it a shot. Do not regret it at all lol still making my way through the campaign, lvl 44 Necro btw

I'm really enjoying D4 so far! Playing a Sorcerer for solo play and a Barbarian for playing with a buddy. Just hit Act 2 and can't wait to play more!

I think they should patch in more vocal barks for not-enough-resources-for-skill moments. I want my barb dejectedly grumbling "I'm just not angry enough right now" or "I'm too calm!"

Really enjoying the game so far as well. The world building is great, music is awesome, and currently just been slowly going through the side quests, and some are surprisingly entertaining, and often have follow ups and contains references to d2 and d3.

I am playing a sorcerer and initially I had mana problem like everyone else, but I am slowly improving my gears and getting paragon points that mitigates that and improving the up time. It's funny to see so many other posts complaining about resource management in the mid game, when the game provides you so many tools that allow you to solve this puzzle and eventually just become a powerhouse.

Am at powerhouse level. rawr.
