Tonight's match should be a fun one. I expect both Lions and Als to come out frisky to start the game. I also love the Als' stadium. The downtown scenery makes the stadium feel like it's the 'urban/city/downtown map in a video game', which I find kind of exciting :P

Well, BC manages to get back on the winning side of the ledger after a couple of weeks slide. Now, on to the next games. Bombers/Riders is always a fun rivalry game, and that one is coming up today.
Riders looking good thru half. MOP frontrunner, Collaros, isn't having much of an impact

Ah, the labor day weekend games. Rivalries and the push towards the playoffs when the games start to have far more meaning. This weekend's matches should be fun.
Yeah, this weekend's matches should be fun! All the underdogs have positive momentum from beating BC recently (Riders, Cats), a better season than expected (Als), or a 2-game win streak (Elks). For the Battle of Alberta, the writers are predicting the Elks to win while fans favour the Stampeders: https://www.cfl.ca/2023/08/29/prediction-time-cfl-ca-writers-ld-weekend-picks/. As an Argos fan, I'm looking forward to seeing the intensity of both Cats fans and Argos fans showing up as we host the rivalry this year!
Well, Stamps / Elks was a fun game! Elks lead for almost all of it and are well ahead in the 4th, only for the Stampeders to come galloping back and win it in the dying seconds. Good game!
I went to bed before the Stamps came back - I thought the Elks had that one. Great game! The best LD weekend game this year, imo, followed by Bombers @ Riders
