I don't have high hopes for this. Due everything Fallout we been getting of late.

Not a fan of the last few games?

76 was a bit different, but I still liked it overall once the bugs were worked out. I thought FO4 was decent too, even though I wasn't all that interested in the base-building component.

FO4 has good gameplay, the story is fine. 76 is a online version of FO4 with a subpar story.

Bugs were your major issue with the game? That's it?

Personally I didn't like 76 because it's boring. There's nothing fun to do and story is told through terminals FFS.

I don't understand why they couldn't just make a normal Fallout game with real people in it. You could do it Borderlands/Dead Island-style, where people can jump in on your session, or go full role-play and give people real jobs with real duties. Or a hybrid where you can either be a RPer, or a wanderer in a server where the RP jobs are replaced by NPCs. Either option would have worked better than the crap we got.

They added them later but I think they under populated servers when looking at players to be content. It's actually quite good and has been for a while, ive been considering another play through.

It's just a matter of opinion I suppose.

With all the changes they made post launch I really think the game got a lot better. They ended up updating it to be much more like a trypical Fallout game. I enjoyed it more than FO4 in some ways.

The story wasn't as good as NV or FO3, but the mechanics, world/envoronment, and new mutants were all great IMO.

I wonder if I'd like it now considering I wasn't a fan The Elder Scrolls Online.

It really did seem to go through a No Man's Sky turn around from what I've heard

It really turned itself around after launch. I'd give it a try next time it goes on sale.

So many series that I had interest in have been demolished, hope this one breaks the trend.

I hope so too! Fallout is my favorite world/universe in video games. Even though it was HBO The Last of Us gives me hope for this.

Big news. If they are going with the lore of the games it will be interesting what year they choose

it's already a wasteland out here, the city is a trash can and i find cool shit just walking around all the time. you know why? years of experience looting everything in Fallout games. i don't have the strong back perk for nothing.

I hope this is good and faithful to the source material

It would be nice if not everything were set in Southern California (yes, I'm exaggerating slightly). But it does make sense, I guess, since LA is a dump. Only place I've spent significant time in that I liked less than New Jersey. Well, Florida is in the running.

Main Character Syndrome

Plus the first two Fallout games took place in SoCal.

But we never get to Los Angeles, only to San Francisco. Which means the show's plot won't be based on games story...
