I love how dramatic old Beta terrain was
Old School Minecraft

Yeah, after they changed it, a big part of the game felt hollow. Granted, I think the latest terrain generation in modern versions has brought things back in its own way.
I honestly didn't notice it when they removed the old terrain. But now that I've seen it again, I miss it. I remember playing pocket edition in the old days with the crazy cliffs and overhangs. It was better that way.
It's better now especially after 1.18, but beta 1.8 really was a bit of a downgrade even though the idea was there
I'm thinking of building my own bridge too near my mining shack!
Bridges are one of my favorite things to build in minecraft. Even a simple one will look nice.
Definitely build one!
Man, I remember the first time I finished a bridge, I felt like a God. Keep it up and you'll be making cities in no time!
I used to have the time (and did) make cities in minecraft. Unfortunately my life is much too busy to play minecraft as much as I would like.
