The media outlet that played a huge role in his becoming president in the first place is now so far away from being "far enough right" for them, that it's a "hostile network."
They are unarguably, literally, and without hyperbole, fascists. And they're trying to drag the rest of us down with them.

Makes sense I guess when your only debating strategy is to talk louder and over the top of people until they give up- he'll only come out looking like an asshole, an idiot, or most likely both. The fact that he's too cowardly to even try won't change anybody's opinion of him, people are too entrenched in their opinions for it to matter at this point.
