This is so cool. Yeah it doesn't sound like the song, except there is sound and you can make out the turnaround note where "in the wall" should go. It's like putting a redcup against the wall to listen in on the next room.

Imagine replaying dreams that you had last night with this type of tech.

Can't be done without participants actively focusing on the thinking picked up.

Also, requires them in a fMRI machine.

The most interesting part of this and all other "AI brain reading" research to date is that fMRI imaging can only be sequenced 10 seconds apart.

So it's not only reading the brain, it's doing so based on only a 10 second slideshow of what's going on in the brain.
