Day 1 of gerbil-sitting: elderly gerbil is still alive. Success!
edit: I also busted my hump to finish work early, as a friend is having a do. So off to Tesco for cakes, home for a shower and then I am getting fed. Success.

Hats off to keeping an elderly gerbil alive :D
For today.
Took a day off on Monday and put up a shelf that had been hanging around for weeks, and then also set a bathroom cabinet and a new kitchen cupboard up - which in turn freed up a bookshelf that we had been using pro tem. so moved that to its final position and then emptied the last of the book boxes after moving in. It finally looks like we actually live here now, after about three and a half months.
Congrats! You're doing much better than I am. I still have boxes of books to unpack from moving over 2 years ago haha.
We have moved several times in the last few years one way or another.
Waay back I did have books in boxes for several years, but these days, I have had more practice, I suppose and, anyway, have been determined to get them out as soon as I can.
Finally bought a new PC, it's not all arrived yet, but first new machine in like 10 years.
Nice. Last thing I bought was the Steam Deck, and that's been keeping me ticking over.
What did you go for?
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D based machine.
