Feed refreshes back to top once leaving the app (self.liftoff)

Not sure if this is a bug per se, but on iOS if I am mid scrolled through a feed and I toggle to a different app, then back to liftoff, I am back at the top of the feed again.

This doesn’t seem to happen if I do the same thing while browsing a specific thread.

there doesn't seem to be anything here
