On Saturday I finished this headband that I did for a friend, just in time to give to her when we met on Sunday. I used some leftover yarn and got juuuuuust enough to finish at 50cms long and sew

I had fun making this project, the rows are short enough I could memorize them and knit without the pattern at hand so it was a great project to carry around.

I love that knit. I made one last year, my first time making cables. was a really good introduction, too, since it's small and easy to finish. I'm thinking of making a new one this year, but with a heavier wool yarn.

I couldn't really say, because I'm a slow knitter and this was a project I'd pick up when I got too bored/frustrated with my other projects. It took me about a week of on/off knitting, but maybe a more profficient knitter could make one in one afternoon?
