yeah, or even just the good old gold hoover
I end up missing a ton of gold especially in long fights and the text on the gold disappears
on keyboard, there's a keybind to show item names again! it's alt by default, but not sure about controller. might be able to check the controls for it
Not sure if it's the same between PC and Console, but at least on Console you can set the labels for pickups to a toggle in the options menu. By default it's L3 (left stick press).
Honestly they need to make a hard Always On option.

I'd love this and a mercenary, diablo 2 style.
This would be the superior option. Allow them to pick up gold too and we're good to go.
You can be a bear and lead a pack of wolves into battle, pets would be cool but I'm already satisfied lol
