Eschalon: Book II is currently free on GOG. It has Linux binaries, too!

Note on the GOG linux ports. As one can see from their Ubuntu version requirement, some of the scripts that GOG made require obsolete packages that are not in most (if any) distros.

According to GoG, One needs to own Skyrim Special Edition to qualify for free Eschalon: Book 2

I don't own Skyrim on GOG but I was able to get Eschalon.

You are correct WTF. I did receive Eschalon: Book 2. The free program that requires Skyrim is Enderal: Forgotton Stories
